Patrick Munday is a graduate of Belhaven University and Delta State University. With a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Mr. Munday has worked in various aspects of law enforcement since 1992. After starting his career as a corrections officer with the Mississippi Department of Corrections, Mr. Munday was promoted to the position of probation and parole officer and was one of the first officers to implement the house arrest program in Mississippi. For twenty-one years, Mr. Munday worked as a federal agent for the Office of Inspector General/United States Department of Agriculture, finishing his federal career as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge in the Jackson field office. Following retirement from his federal career, Mr. Munday worked briefly for Trustmark National Bank in their Financial Crimes Division. The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office welcomed Mr. Munday as their Director of Criminal Investigations in February 2020.
