Former Meridian Police Officer Convicted of Wire Fraud

A former Meridian police officer has been convicted of wire fraud, announced Attorney General Jim Hood today.

Terrell Thompson, was found guilty of wire fraud today by a jury after 25 minutes of deliberation in Judge Robert Bailey’s courtroom, Lauderdale County Circuit Court.  Thompson was convicted for forging a subpoena, while employed as a police officer, in order to obtain his wife’s phone records from AT&T.
