Jackson Man Arrested for Exploitation

A Jackson man is behind bars charged with exploitation of a vulnerable person, announced Attorney General Jim Hood today.

Kenneth A. Cauthen, 51, of Jackson, was arrested Tuesday by members of the United States Marshals Service, Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force for the Attorney general’s Office.  Cauthen was indicted in November 2012, by the Grand Jury of Rankin County on one count of exploitation of a vulnerable person.  Cauthen is accused of financially exploiting an 86 year-old man, to whom he was not related, in an amount equal to $13,300.
