Jackson, MS—A Harrison County man is behind bars and facing charges for possession of child pornography, announced Attorney General Jim Hood today.
Michael Ishee, age 44, of Saucier, MS was arrested yesterday by Investigators with the Attorney General’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) , with assistance from the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office, an ICAC Task Force affiliate.
Ishee is charged with four counts of possession of child pornography. He was booked into the Harrison County Jail, where bond was set at $25,000 per charge for a total of $100,000.
“We have a great working relationship with the Harrison County Sheriff’s Office and we sincerely appreciate the help of Sheriff Brisolara and his deputies,” said Attorney General Hood. “With these type of collaborations, we’re going to continue to make a difference.”
As with all cases, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law. No court dates have yet been set for Ishee. If convicted, he faces 20 to 160 years in prison.
