Jackson, MS?A Clarke County resident has been arrested and charged with possession of child pornography by the Attorney General?s Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, announced Attorney General Jim Hood today.
Joseph Stockman, age 33, of Enterprise was arrested at his home yesterday by investigators with the Attorney General?s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and charged with five counts possession of child porn. The arrest was made with assistance from the Clarke County Sheriff?s Office.
?We are genuinely appreciative to Sheriff Todd Kemp and his deputies for their assistance on this case,? said Attorney General Hood. ?They have helped us on numerous cases and we cannot say enough good things about the work they are doing to protect Clarke County each and every day.?
Stockman was booked into the Clarke County Detention Center. If convicted, he faces up to 40 years behind bars per count (total of 200 years). As with all cases, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
