Jackson, MS?A Brandon resident has been arrested and now faces charges involving possession of child pornography, announced Attorney General Jim Hood today.

Thomas Ed Williamson, age 63, of Brandon, was arrested on three counts possession of child pornography at his home today by investigators of the Attorney General?s Cyber Crime Unit/Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force with assistance from Brandon Police Department, which is a member of the Attorney General?s ICAC Task Force.

Williamson was taken to the Rankin County Jail where he was booked.  As with all cases, the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
