FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jackson, MS-Attorney General Jim Hood today announced the arrests of two Long Beach Residents for Felony Home Repair Fraud and Misdemeanors of Contracting for Residential Construction without a State Contractors License. Dallas Eugene Frisbee, age 40, and Juliet Kay Bolling, age 46, were arrested yesterday by Investigators with the Attorney General’s Office, Consumer Protection Division following a complaint filed by a Long Beach resident.
The resident entered into a contract with Frisbee, Bolling and a third person (William Guy Revel) to build a new home after her home was destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. The resident complained that the home was never started, even though a down payment of $15,000 was made. Justice Court Judge Melvin Ray signed both warrants and set bond for Frisbee at $26,000 and for Bolling at $21,000.
The third suspect, William Guy Revel, age 39, of Tennessee, is in custody in Henry County Tennessee on an unrelated charge. When he is released from custody in Tennessee, this office will request Revel be extradited to answer to the same charges.
“It has been more than two years since Katrina hit and our residents are still in the process of getting their lives back in order,” said Attorney General Jim Hood. “It is a shame that any one of them would have to endure even more heartache. We simply won’t let crooked contractors get away with taking advantage of anyone in this state.”
