Jackson, Miss. A deadbeat parent has failed to meet the conditions of his Felony Child Desertion sentence, announced Attorney General Jim Hood.
Todd Lesinski, age 40, of, 99 Gary Way Wylie, TX, was sentenced on May 10, 2004, in Harrison County to serve five years, suspended supervised probation after failing to support his child. Lesinski did not show up at his Revocation of Probation Hearing yesterday and Harrison County Circuit Judge Lisa Dodson issued a warrant for his arrest. Mississippi Department of Corrections is working with law enforcement to serve the Warrant. Lesinski currently owes over $41,000 in back Child Support.
“As parents we have an obligation to take care of our children,” said Attorney General Jim Hood, “The judge in this case gave Mr. Lesinski a fair shake, but he failed to meet the conditions of his sentencing and at the next hearing this office will request that he serve his full term of 5 years in the penitentiary for Felony Child Desertion.”
