Attorney General Jim Hood and the Crime Victim Compensation Division of the Attorney General?s Office are hosting an event in accordance with National Crime Victims Rights Week (April 13-19, 2008). A program will be held Monday, April 14, beginning at 6:00p.m., at the Mississippi Agriculture & Forestry Museum’s Ethnic Heritage Building.
This year?s theme is ?Justice for Victims/Justice for All?. There will be an awards ceremony, a “Take Back the Night Walk” and a Candle Lighting to honor victims and advocates. The Domestic Violence Coalition, The Sexual Assault Coalition, The Homicide Coalition, MADD and the Victims Services Division of the FBI are participating in this event.
