Ex Parte Temporary Domestic Abuse Protective Order - (immediate relief without notice to the other party). This form is to be utilized by courts when issuing emergency relief prior to a hearing.
Temporary Domestic Abuse Protective Order -This form is to be utilized by municipal and justice courts when issuing a temporary protection order after a hearing.
Final Domestic Abuse Protective Order -This form is to be utilized by county and chancery courts when issuing a final protection order after a hearing.
Order to Continue Hearing and Extend Temporary Ex Parte Domestic Abuse Protective Order -This form is for use when an ex parte emergency order has been issued and the scheduled hearing cannot be held for whatever reason. This form sets a new hearing date and extends the emergency order until that time.
Order to Amend Domestic Abuse Protective Order -This order is for use in the event a party requests a modification of any of the terms of the protective order.
Order Dismissing Petition for Domestic Abuse Protective Order -This order is for use in circumstances in which the petitioner fails to appear for the designated hearing, or requests that the petition be dismissed.
Order Denying Petition for Domestic Abuse Protective Order -This order is for use after a hearing in which the Petitioner does not meet the burden of proof that he/she is entitled to a domestic abuse protective order.
Order Denying Petition for Domestic Abuse Protective Order and Assessing Costs to Petitioner -This order is for use after a hearing in which the court makes specific findings that the petition was without merit and that the petitioner is NOT a victim of domestic abuse. The court in that circumstance, is permitted by statute, but not mandated, to assess court costs to the petitioner.
Order to Dissolve Domestic Abuse Protective Order -This form is for use after a protective order has been issued and a party requests to have the entire order dissolved.
