It was an honor to be sworn in as Mississippi’s new Attorney General on January 9, 2020. I am grateful to the people of Mississippi for entrusting me with the responsibility of running our State’s law firm, and I am excited to get to work on the bold agenda we set for the next four years:

To support our law enforcement and first responders,
To bring all parties together to fight the opioid crisis,
To put an end to human trafficking in our State and help its victims find a pathway back into society without shame or blame,
To prosecute fraud and abuse against taxpayers,
To protect our most vulnerable, including seniors, children, and the mentally ill, from unfair and deceptive practices,
To partner with Mississippi businesses to serve the people of our great State,
To defend Mississippi’s laws and Constitution from outsiders, and
To support our Second Amendment rights.

I have assembled a team of talented and enthusiastic lawyers and professionals to lead these efforts. We are currently developing a new website to share information about this work and expect it to be live soon.
